Dear Friends and prayer partners
Firstly let me thank you for all your prayers for Tony and myself over the recent weeks. As I said in my last letter Tony's biopsy was cancer had some aggressive cells so a bone scan was booked. However Praise God we had the results this week and the cancer has not spread. We are all thrilled however Tony still isn't feeling great as he has other health issues, however God is so good. Please continue to hold him in your prayers.
This has taken up a lot of my attention and so I would value your prayers for me as on ..........
Saturday 12th Nov I am leading a retreat Trinity Methodist & URC at Knebworth. Please pray that I hear clearly what Father God has for this day.
Rosemary gives thanks;
On Friday 21st Oct, X- rays showed that at last all the pieces of bone had united! Praise God! The new bone still has to strengthen, but it is no longer at risk of falling apart again. My shoulder cannot be treated, so movement may be permanently restricted, but I trust God in all things for His will to be done.
On Sunday Oct 23rd at an award ceremony in Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Karl was made a Junior Sports Ambassador for the Lords Taverners Sport Charity. Some 12 young people were made ambassadors, most of them for their excellence in wheelchair basketball. Karl and a young lady were invited to be ambassadors because of their determination to play, their perseverance during all their medical treatment and the work they have done already to promote wheelchair sport. We are all very proud of him and are sure God will continue to use him in his new role.
Many blessings in Christ

Dear Friends and Prayer Partners
After celebrating Easter and our risen Lord, we are now in the time of waiting for Pentecost, and the coming of the Holy Spirit. God has promised to pour out His Spirit on all flesh, and our desire is to see Him touch lives, including ours.
After Jesus’ resurrection He met with His disciples who were together behind locked doors for fear of the Jews. He spoke peace, and breathed on them saying “Receive the Holy Spirit”. However, it was 40 days later when He told them to “Wait for the gift my Father promised, which you heard me speak about. For John baptised with water but in a few days you will be baptised with the Holy Spirit.” This Promise empowered them to be more effective. We too are setting time aside to follow this example.
"The Promise of the Holy Spirit" is an event to be held Pentecost weekend, the 10th and 11th of June at Huntingdon Methodist Church. The speaker is Rev Paul Wilson, Chair of MET (Methodist Evangelicals Together) with whom we are jointly hosting the weekend.
We would love you to join us if you are able. More details can be found here
